Yindjibarndi Community & Commercial Limited (YCCL)
Yindjibarndi Community & Commercial Limited (YCCL) was established in 2013 as a trust dedicated to delivering both community and commercial benefits for the Yindjibarndi People. YCCL oversees the management of two key trusts—one focused on community wellbeing and the other on commercial development—ensuring that resources are used responsibly and in line with community priorities.
In recent years, YCCL has begun receiving meaningful income, largely due to the new agreement reached with Rio Tinto. These funds provide an important opportunity to strengthen the social, cultural, and economic future of the Yindjibarndi Community.
The trust operates under a formal deed, which outlines how funds may be distributed and ensures that all decisions are made transparently, ethically, and for the long‑term benefit of the Yindjibarndi People.
