Community benefits and the Trust
Following the 2022 Modernisation Agreement with Rio Tinto, additional funding is now available to support Yindjibarndi Community Members. The Trust has been established for charitable purposes and is committed to strengthening the wellbeing, culture, and future of the Yindjibarndi People.
The Trust may provide assistance in areas such as:

Relief and support
Community enhancement, and support for those experiencing hardship due to age, sickness, or distress.

Birdarra Lore and beliefs
Advancing Yindjibarndi People’s beliefs under Birdarra Lore.

Lore and culture
Promoting and preserving Aboriginal lore and culture.

Community benefit
Other purposes that provide meaningful benefit to the Yindjibarndi Community.
Member Program Guidelines
Our Member Program Guidelines booklet provides important information for Members about the programs and services delivered by YCCL. It explains:
- Program purposes: What each program can be used for.
- Access and applications: How to go about accessing and applying for support.
